On gaining my City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Stitched Textiles – Embroidery in 2009, one of my pieces of work was selected for exhibition at the PAD Gallery. Since then, I have exhibited my work with Natural Progression Textile Group in several local galleries.
Living in Goosnargh, near Preston, much of my inspiration comes from the landscape and countryside around me.
I enjoy both hand and machine embroidery and involve many techniques to emphasise different textures and use a wide variety of colour in my work.
