Sue Chisnall-Sumner

I am a retired civil servant living in Leyland, who since being a child has always loved to stitch and create. In 2009 I gained a Diploma in City & Guilds in Embroidery and Textile Design at Preston College. 

I have exhibited my work at various venues with Natural Progression Textile Group, and also as an individual. I am currently very involved with the Embroiderers Guild.

I also run workshops, and sell my work at craft fairs and shops where I can.

I prefer to work with mixed media and love to experiment with new materials, which I mix with more traditional stitching and techniques. My work is usually rich in colour, sometimes quite quirky and very eclectic.
