I am a recently retired college librarian based in rural Wyre. I have been part of the Natural Progression group since its inception in 2009, having studied C&G Embroidery and Textile Design at Preston College with the other original members.
My interests in art and textile mediums are eclectic, ranging from the more traditional patchwork and hand embroidery techniques to experimenting with all the new mixed media materials.
Finding the time to continually develop and produce as a textile artist has, however, proved challenging with a full time career in education.
