Libertas at Avant Garden Centre

Hi 'Libertas' has moved to Avant Garden Centre, Wigan Road, Leyland, Lancs PR25 5XW 4th Jan to 30th Jan. They are open Mon - Sat 9.00am to 5.30pm, Late night Thurs until 7.30pm and Sun 10.00am to 4.00pm.

It looks brilliant, and they are very pleased with it. Well worth a visit.

'Libertas' at Astley Farmhouse

Jacqui Smith 'Handpainted and Stitched Illustrations'

Eight members of our group met today to participate in a workshop ran by Jacqui Smith, What a treat it turned out to be, a lovely day, playing with paint, dyes, bleach etc etc on paper & fabric. We did not find time to stitch into the wonderful backgrounds, but as most of us are experienced in free machine embroidery we can complete our pieces at home.

We just need to add collaged pieces of fine fabric, sweetie papers, music, pages from books-  whatever, and then we are away.
